Chapter Setup, aka: Game Modes

Ill be outlining the three main sources of content I aim to use: Chapters, Urgent Missions, and Intrusion Wars.
Chapters: Pretty self-explanatory, 6 missions, one of which is a “premium” mission requiring a certain hero to be playable. Additionally, by completing the chapter completely (not decided how that’ll be decided) you unlock a new character, and the first is currently planned to be a Fox-Themed hero, Vulp, possessing the power of illusion with the help of the sprite Viix.
Urgent Missions: The “Spec Ops” of the game, each is attached to a chapter, continuing the story, effectively making each chapter 9 missions long. You unlock an Urgent Mission by clearing the main 5 missions in a Chapter. Urgent Missions come with a list of missions you must undertake to unlock a hero, which the first is Stalker, a hero from the same world as Vulp, using shapeshifting powers originally meant to be used for a villain against him.
Intrusion Wars: AKA Single-Player PvP. Intrusion Wars will not appear for a while. I plan to see what the community thinks are good setups, as well as some of my own, and set up a system to have you face off against that for rewards. While not easy, the intention is you can get all the rewards with perseverance. Since it’d be a ways out, the hero is not planed yet.

Also, Rikku, the lycanthropic Archer, will join Roland not only on the reveal block, but as my first test to ensure things are working properly.

Just a Pico sprite

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Spaaaace~

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

Drawn in Piskel using my mouse. Whaddya think?

Made my first ever animation.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

blender animation experimentation, getting the hang of things fast. arms, rig, & gun models by me ofc
