Decay and Rotting Coming Up!

The upcoming 1.10.0 release comes with a new Decay subsystem, which is a quite handy piece of code that the game physics may use to weaken and decay physical objects.

The first use of this new subsystem is rotting, a new feature thanks to which a wreck that has been engulfed by water will rot overtime.

Here is a screenshot of the RMS Titanic after it has just sank to the bottom of the ocean (with water contrast set to zero)

16 minutes later the iron-eating bacteria are in full activity, and parts of the wreck have collapsed under their own weight:

No more dull wrecks then - you may now enjoy time passing by even after your ship has sunk to the bottom of the ocean!

Heya there! I really wanted to show you all a little gameplay preview of the first boss fight i'm currently working on i hope you like it ^^

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Demonstration of the spells and their effects :)!

Horror WIP A track that will be featured in a future horror game soundtrack! Stay tuned!

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Call it 'wrong turn'!🚫 The feeling of running into a house with only one exit🚪, and being doomed to die. #pixelart #pixelartist #pixelartwork #art #pixel #indiegame #IndieGameDev #indieartist
