Also when I was working on the dreaded enemy jump mechanic I had this idea of making the jumps vary depending on the enemy you bopped, so like if you jumped on the mice you'd be sent upwards (like normally with all enemies), but if you jumped on the bird then it would be sent launching forwards with you on top (as if you jumped horizontally perfect) and then be able to reach platforms that are really far from reach!

I ended up not coding this idea since it was already a huge pain to fix all the bugs and get the base enemy jump mechanic to work (and I don't want this game to have too much gimmicks and stuff), but maybe I could recycle this on a sequel or something.
