The new version come with a great new arsenal for the characters: they will be able to use skills!
Those skill can be easily performed by pressing a single button, but some will need to meet some requirements (like don’t be spinning in the ground, be in mid air). Some skills also changes if meet different requirements (changes from casting on ground or casting on mid air). You can use those skills as many times as you want, but you need to spend some time to use the same skill again (aka cooldown).
Now i’m working on the moveset screen, that will explain how to use the skills and what they do. Each character will have 3 basic skills.

Why i’m adding skills? Because it’ll not be a simple Sonic-style game, those skills will be needed in the latest stages of my game. This game will be a introduction for my new game style. I’m going to release this demo version for you to get used earlier to this new gameplay style, that will NOT remove the old gameplay. All Sanic’s physic and homing attack are still in the game, and will remain the same (at least until someone find a glitch in those).
Why all this work to a simple Sanic game? Because almost everything used in this game will be used in other games (even Sanic).
