Hello again everyone.
As you saw with the newest video I FINALLY added music and sound effects. I even added the new teeter animation and fixed Draco's Fire Breath sprite. Now the game is feeling more alive and I'm super excited.
Again the music and sound effects were by Robert Cole AKA Bit by Bit. He made really good SNES style music. Most of it sounds like it could be in a Final Fantasy fangame, but I think this can work for Draco. Plus content is more affordable. Here's the link to his site be sure to check it out when get a chance: https://www.bitbybitsound.com/
I'm really close to getting the testing stuff done. What I need next are checkpoints, a level goal, HP items(totally almost that) and transitions(y'know, fade ins and outs). If I stay focused hard enough, I still might barely be able to release the demo before the end of year, if not then it'll be released January 2024, but 2023 is my goal.
One last note, I know some of you guys are thinking if I'm gonna add voice acting for the game probably because of it's cartoon style. Well I've been asked before and, I hate to break it to you, but there WON'T be any voice acting of any kind for 3 reasons:
1) I can't afford it
2) This requires me to work with people which I'm not very good at doing
3) And the most important reason: I DON'T want voice acting for the game.
And with that I'll wrap this post up. See you next time.
