Hello again everyone,
Sorry for the late progress report. As I said once before, I was having issues with motivation and self-esteem issues. But I'm feeling lot better, so no worries.
Okay, so if you haven't seen it already, I dropped a video showing the platforms being added in the game. Now, the logic works, Players can jump on it and through it, but for some reason, when players jump through it the Draco's switches states for whatever reason. Like, he'll go from the jump to idle, if you jump through it.
I know it has something to do with states, I'll figure it out hopefully soon enough. But if I can't, then I'll have to make it where platforms can't be jumped through. But don't worry, that'll be a last resort. And hey, it'll be nice callback to Super Mario Bros. 1/Lost Levels, you couldn't jump through those platforms.
So after that, I'm gonna try to work on animations, like Draco's Sugar Rush Animations after he gets the Superstar Donut. I want him to wackier and less serious like he is now. Then couple of more effects and few more tweaks and I'll update the demo.
