Back once again with another devlog, it’s been a while as I have been trying to fix a few really annoying bugs and also decide how I want to handle resolution
For the best experience I recommend this game be played with something that has atleast 800 pixels in height Alternatively you could play the game with something only having 400 pixels in height and the game would look great with all its detail, I will have a sort of auto scaling to make the game not look complete crap on strange resolutions however
The most major bug that I’ve fixed was a strange occurrence where it would flicker white briefly after maximizing or minimizing the game
Onto the juicy new stuff, Since the last devlog I’ve fixed a few bugs and added a few new things first off is the new gate that is only closed while its powered, Basically I made some spikes that retract when unpowered so you can cross them this makes for some interesting puzzles I hope to implement
Second new mechanic is something I wanted to pretty much add from the beginning and that is mirrors, Which reflect and change the direction of enemy bullets to create for some real unique situations such as a timed closing so you have to hurry to a specific location before its blocked off with bullets
Still not quite ready to release a demo to the public yet however its getting very close to the stage where I might be able to hopefully next week, (I know I originally intended to release a demo after only a week but that doesn’t appear to have happened =P)
