dev update 0.02.00

first day of the remodeling of the main Island in this game.

I'm testing out a 3d scanner app so that instead of getting my 3d scans from https://quixel.com/megascans/ I can take some of my own 3d scans.

Here are changes that will take place:


  1. The island terrian will be completely redone

  2. Cliffs, small caves and other natrual landmarks will be added

  3. New plants, rocks and other bits of nature will be added

  4. Clay, sand and limestone will be accesable via small "pools" around the beaches of this Island

  5. Beaches, sand, shells, all that stuff

    Do keep in mind that due to this construction the release date (which has not been set) and also the dev build release date have been pushed back to mid July (sorry)

    EDIT: Only the dev build will pushed back, I'm still not sure when the official release will take place.

I changed the water graphics with the BeachShader pack in the Unreal Engine marketplace

The graphics are really high quality and there are some new effects for entering the water.

I retook the first screenshot. (Left = New, Right = Old)
