DEV UPDATE: 1/24/24


Here's the Major content added since the last Update (January 16th)

MAJOR:

Finished the Point and Click section of the game:

  • 8 Player Movement Animations

  • 18 Animatronic Animations (12 Static, 3 Animated, 3 Jumpscares)

  • ~12 SFX (Music, SFX, Animatronic Movements, Jumpscares)

    All i got to do now is just add some Polish to the scene.

  • Licensed 2 Songs for the game, and ~12 Instrumental Tracks

    MINOR / MISC

  1. Finished writing the Story for the rest of the game

  2. Finalized the Daycare, Including Animations

  3. Re-made the Main Menu from scratch

  4. Added a introduction scene after pressing "Play,"

  5. Tweaked the Lobby Animations and Music

  6. Finished 7 of 10 Environments (The scope got a bit bigger lol)

  7. Finished 12 of 17 Animations


Now, i'm kinda struggling to pick a Length for the Point and Click section, Here's what i have so far:

3 Animatronics with (Let's say, Based on FNaF 1) Randomized Difficulty similar to 14/20 and 17/20 depending on the Animatronic, and Random difficulty you get.
You get 40 Seconds of free time to familiarize yourself with the Location and Movement

Each animatronic is fairly simple mechanic wise, (because it's just a small section of the game and not the main focus) But together they can my pretty challenging from my experience.

Now, Here's what i'm struggling with, the Length of the point and click section,
I cant decide between 4, 5 or 6 Minutes (Not including the Free Time) so i'm curious what Y'all think.

Also, the night isn't a "Survive til 6AM," kind of thing, but a "Just Survive," thing, so there's no timer showing how far you are in the night.

Added in Proper reverb, working on improving the Lighting and reflections as well. Probably gonna keep the atrium Dark for Night Shift purposes, but I'm looking into adding more Models & detail as well.

ACT 3 • Night 3 Also, I've been Really busy the last few days, And I'm cutting it pretty Close to the Release date. I Might have to delay it, but I'll let y'all know! At most, I'd expect a up-to 3 day delay, But I'm still aiming for the weekend.
