Dev. Update #32 - Working save/load game feature!


Hello everyone!
Hope you are all doing GREAT!

I know i usually post on weekends as it is when i have time for developing.

I were improving the game yesterday and today by doing minor tweeks etc.

BUT…
Today!

Ladies and gentlemen!

I finally made the save/load game feature work!
Still some parts of the savegame-file that isn’t saved yet But all those minor fixes will come SOON! :)

I have added some functions to the phone(stilla tiny little buggy to activate, but it works)
You can save the game or go back to the menu using the phone now.

  • The pause menu got corrupted by making other features, you just use the phone for now :)

  • And by “you” i mean those who will play it in the next testing round.

Other news, I have recreated the home selection menu which displays the map over the area where you live.

Improved the intro sequences(a lot).

  • Changed backgrounds to match the map and added animations instead of using slow code.

Options:

  • Added “minimal” settings for the lowest graphics you can get. Even the “on-screen” graphics are REALLY low resolution.

  • That means the phone text are almost impossible to read.
    However if you have a really bad computer, you can at least..sort of try out the game.

Also been doing more tweeking to TRY to make the game run more smooth.

  • This will be a priority in the next update

That is all i wanted to say for today, hope you like the progress that have been done!

Also:
3gvice Studios® are expanding so there will soon be a new webpage where all the game projects will be shown etc. soon.

  • I am preparing everything for the development video-recording sessions i will have for “behind scenes” which will be available on YouTube when they are done.
