Dev. Update #33 - Coming testinground, pets, hidden features & more...


Hello there awesome people!

I know i haven’t posted in a while. Been busy with private things; will be back on track completely now in february.
I want to thank you all for the support so far and your patience of this development.
Your support means a lot to me and it makes me want to do better than my best! :)
I have a lot for you guys this time so sit back and prepare for a longer update note.


Now, what have happened with SaH since last update?
Today and this weekend i will try to stabilize the gamebuild and start with more testings.
(Which means i will start to check the applications i have gotten and notify those who will be testing the game) - for more info about the application for teh testinggroup, please visit the forum 3gvice.com/forum
I have been working with patching up those lag spikes as well as adding pets.

The coming build will be: more stable than now BUT still will be a bit slower than some of you might call “comfortable”. In order to “fix” that, it is highly suggested to turn down the graphics at the moment.

Over at the forum for SaH, i have posted more updates which dig deeper into things like possible multiplayer features etc.
“but what have you done with the game?”

  • I have made tons of new models and written pages of codes.
    as result the coming testinground will contain a whole set of features as:

    • A view of the whole map

    • Pets
      “Secrets” around in the homes with “bonuses”
      New transition screens

    • Depending on what you own and how you travel(where you go)
      New jobs
      More “horror” in “horror mode”
      More places to visit
      Better mouse support “F1 to toggle center mouse on/off”
      Slightly better AI(Mostly pets right now but also some NPCs)
      Whole new system for the phone.

    • Right now it is missing proper mouse support.

    • Will be upgradable later on.
      Improved save/load game feature
      fixed connections that were out of place
      (i.e: going to the office transported you to the hospital)

Other things i have been working on and still work on:

  • A new female model(still struggle to make the model look..well..human)

  • Recording sounds(horror sounds & voices)

  • Theme song(improved a lot since the preview)

  • Working on a replacement of ingame songs as YouTube reacts to much to the current song.

    • A friendly fix for you YouTubers out there :)

That is all i want to tell you for this update, please don’t be afraid to come with constructive critisism if any. All comments welcome.
