Development Progress and QNA

Hello everyone! Thought it'd be good to update you all on the game's progress a bit and share some information about where we're at development-wise

So to start we now have two programmers! Onyx has been learning unreal engine and helping out with the smaller mechanics and figuring out ways to add ideas the team has talked about while I work on the bigger side of things like the maps and new mechanics, so that should help speed up development!

There isn't a whole lot more left to do for the demo, most of the gameplay is in place and we're refining it so things feel more grounded and that the game gives players a challenge. We're constantly making changes and finding out what works best for the game as we really want to give you all a great experience as you play through the demo and hopefully give it a lot of replay value as well!

Secondly I think now is a good time to get involved a bit with you all, since this page is getting a good amount of attention and as development goes on I'm sure you all have questions you'd like to ask, so in the comments on this post feel free to post any questions you want to ask and we'll do our best to answer them! The only questions we won't be answering are ones related to the story or anything outside of the 6am demo.

And one last surprise, if you haven't already seen there is a premiere page on my YouTube channel for a Halloween teaser put together by Onyx! The premiere goes live on the 31st at 3PM UK time as well as 5PM on Onyx's channel after the premiere is over, hope to see you all there!

Did you know that today is #InternationalJazzDay? 🎷😎

No? 😯 Well, we couldn't pass up this date!

And what better to celebrate this day than #Pecaminosa #OST? 🎷

Let us know what you think about it and have a great weekend!

Chiaki Nanami!

Path of Kami: The Evolution of the Lore

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

One of the most critical update for Sunblaze demo. Now you are able to pet a cat! Finally!
