Mega Development Update #7 Part 1
Sup.
First Boss - Mega Chompik
We are having a hard time balancing and designing this boss. I strongly suggest you guys try out the next version with boss level and give me suggestion. Thank you very much in advance!
Here’s some pattern and tips on beating this boss.
Feed
This boss take damage when shot in the back or side
Shooting him in the mouth will “feed” him and recover his Hit Point
Maxing out his Hit Point or empty it kill the boss
(As he is facing you most of the time, feed him is the easier way to go)
Run
This is no mainstream multiplayer competitive FPS game, running wont affect your accuracy
The boss turn rate is slowed in order to make smoother movement
Most of the attack from the boss has direction based on the boss rotation thus staying for long is a bad idea.
(As his turn speed is slow, sidestepping is the way to go)
Hide
If you played the earlier version, you know the ammo in this game is limited, take cover and loot pill help you a lot.
The Pill and Power Up in boss arena will keep on respawning until the boss is destroyed
(As the Pill and Power Up only respawn in spawner near the boss, loot everything outside the cage and go to the spawner only when u have power up on yourself)
Most of the base mechanic is done in this build. I’ll call it an of the development of Amazer for now as i am working on a new project now. It’s finishing up, please to check it when I’m done :D
