Devlog 1.1 - Textures

Hello, everyone!

Today marks the first day of development for Infinity! Our initial task is to create textures for the game. We will start by designing common textures for the bits and the player, then we will move on to programming.

Here are some textures we have already created:

Test Texture: This texture resembles wood but is bright orange. It is vibrant, distinctive, and easy to see, making it ideal for development and testing.

Wood Texture: This texture is a standard depiction of wood, and it includes both normal and cornered variations.

Stone Texture: A very common and valuable material in the world of Infinity.

Iron Ore Texture: This texture represents iron ore, which will be used to create steel in the game. It includes both normal and non-animated textures.

We're glad you're following our journey.

Cheers!

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

Quantum precognition is one of the most powerful cards. End game cards & equipment. Demo/alpha build boss is no match for this deck.

Spaaaace~

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

Path of Kami, running around the shrine area

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

I thought I would do a quick show and tell, with a 2 min video of the start of the game and some of the game elements, after many many months it is really starting to come together, time to start networking https://gamejolt.com/games/Dungeon_fable/490669
