🕛 Devlog #1 - The Beginning of Midnight Bytes.

Development has officially started, slowly but surely. I’ve been taking my time to learn Clickteam Fusion 2.5, which will serve as the main engine for the game. It’s been an exciting process so far, experimenting with different systems and getting familiar with the workflow. There’s still a lot to learn, but each day brings a little more progress and confidence.

On the art side of things, production has also begun! The visual style of Midnight Bytes is starting to take shape, and I’m really happy with the early direction. I want to capture a unique tone and atmosphere that fits the game’s eerie yet intriguing theme.

Right now, the focus is on building a strong foundation, learning the tools, setting up the basics.

Future devlogs will include concept art previews, in-engine progress, and maybe even a short look at gameplay once things become more stable.

Stay tuned!
