As I'm writing this it's been 3 months since the last devlog and 6 months since the previous update. Right now I'm getting back to working on Home Grown, meaning I'll start building the game from the ground up on Godot 4.0.
On my previous devlog I said that I had started planning the Beta that would be made in Godot 4.0 because I didn't want to keep working with the current game. But that's also sort of a lie since I've only been coming up with ideas and haven't been putting them together. But now, I'm finally putting them together and seeing what works and what doesn't.
I also can't say when it'll release. It could legitimately be only a couple of months if I really plan it out well and work hard on it, or it could be half a year or longer. All I know is that I'm being very careful with this game from here on out, not only because I still think it's an insanely cool concept, but also because it's a project that can easily fall apart if not done right.
