Happy Friday!
What a week. Not my most productive.
Monday, like most of the world, was a public holiday.
Tuesday and Wednesday were out of routine, with some life responsibilities cutting into my productive time.
Yesterday was a mess. 2 separate hospital trips. (One routine and one planned, so nothing serious to worry about.)
Today is Friday.
And that's the week!
I did manage to stream a bit of my writing earlier this week, but my body has been fighting me when it comes to working late this week. I've thrown in the towel and just went with it. Next week will be back to usual.
Oh! I also managed to write a bit of Tabitha lore/backstory over here. (Remember, we have her pinup also!) which reminds me I should release the Naaka pinup soon... Mmm.
Tae has sent some more artwork before her trip, and wow. It's gorgeous to say the least. Stoffies has also been working on redoing and improving the quality of some of the backgrounds. (Looking at you, curved hallway!)
Other than that, it's been mostly marketing. We're running some paid ads across SEVERAL sites. It's stressful watching money evaporate, but there seems to be some traction. Sadly, Patreon's analytics is alku'ahf. Seriously, you can't integrate with Google Analytics, because they want to build their own analytics dashboard, but it means there is no way of knowing who converts and who doesn't. The numbers are going up, so SOME of the advertising is working, and Patreons very descriptive 'Others' category is... Yeah. That's where the advertising money is going to. I think. It's hard to say.

(Yes. This is the far superior way to analyse your money spent on traffic! Muhaha?)
In other news, if you were one of the fans selected to design a crew member, you still have some time to complete your character design brief (Until the 26th, when Tae returns from her trip. Remember to add your visual references if you haven't done so yet!)
Development continues. We did an informal vote on Discord, and it seems that an overwhelming majority of you DO NOT want us to upload a 'play in browser' version to itchio. (I was honestly expecting the opposite.) Still, I've updated the game on Gamejolt (right??) and Newgrounds, where it was still running the version from 5 years ago. We tried indiexpo, but the game has outgrown their hosting capacity, and they'll only be able to accommodate larger uploads closer to the end of the year. Traffic on these sites is meh, but if you really want to see the new Ollas and Halen sprites ingame, you can do so over there.
I also finally clicked the Patreon button that changes the page to the new layout. Still messing around with it, but expect some changes. All in all, it seems like an improved layout.
Anyways, I'm off to continue working on the next batch of content. Have a fantastic weekend, and, as always, be safe and be kind to each other.
