Devlog 31: 29.07...04.08.2024


Greetings.

This week has been spent away from my usual computer, so Greg progress was slow. Not that there's much left to progress - the game is very close to "finished". In the latter part of the week, I did a bit of work on an alternate ending, but that's still yet to be finished.

Another piece of polish I hope will be good are the new fishing lures, for the fishing minigame. Each changes how you play the game slightly, in a different way. This should serve to make the fishing game more fun and more rewarding, too.

The first playtester to finish the game was Alan.

I also contracted a disease or two. I hope to get better soon. Goodbye for now. Look out for Greg.

Just a Pico sprite

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

One of the most critical update for Sunblaze demo. Now you are able to pet a cat! Finally!
