devlog-4.16.23: Time to revive the old devlog...

Skeeter's Grid dev continues and will continue for the foreseeable future. I'm primarily working on storyline updates with a focus on lore and world building. Pictured is level 0.0.1, the second tutorial level. The player circles back here after completing the main game loop, and based on player choices during the first playthrough, the story can continue down one of several branches. I will say all this storyline branching is getting increasingly time consuming and is taking away from other facets of development, but I'm basically fine with this. I feel some personal pressure to complete this game, but really, I just want it done when it's done, and I do enjoy lore/world building.

Been busy! To make my summer release window for Skeeter's Grid, I'm trying to complete a few levels each week while concurrently prep for Next Fest in February. This unfinished "Phase 3" shot features several new circuit types on a more complex board.

Alright folks, my demo for Skeeter's Grid is available on Steam:

If you like puzzle games, I do hope you'll give this a try.

Few milestones...

My demo has been approved by Valve for release! I'm not doing the actual release until shortly before Next Fest, but this is a good development.

Also, I've scheduled a live-stream for Feb. 24 at 6pm EST.

Here's my contribution for the Holiday Fireplace. I'd been putting some tracks together for Skeeter's Grid and realized some of these loops seemed vaguely festive in a downtempo sort of way.

New dev teaser for Skeeter's Grid as I ready for Next Fest.

This showcases one of the early tutorial levels. On display are new animations, the new contextual help system and more.

I have been bizzzyyy getting my isometric puzzler, Skeeter's Grid, ready for Early Access, and it's available as of today at Steam and Itch:

And now back to work!

I've created a new gameplay trailer for Skeeter's Grid. Truth be told, this is long overdue.
