So, first of all, it hasn't been 5 years. Woohoo. Go Team Perseverance, I guess. There's no OST attached to this log, for various reasons. Mostly because we didn't have one ready. And happy pride month, men's mental health month, and the beginning of summer.
Anyways, the main thing I did this time. I have the full bits of the battle menu set up now, including a functioning check button and semi-functioning other buttons. The item menu will not be implemented for a while due to it being a painus in the anus. It will likely be one of the last things I do. Note that the ACTs shown are placeholders. Also, the music and SFX were turned off in order to hear my voice better. You're welcome.
The other thing I wanted to showcase was main menu improvements. I added some particle effects and a "demo" marker. It looks pretty now, I think. At least it has more visual interest. Also improved some of the text in the menus after I discovered scaling. Woohoo.
Devlog 7 will probably focus on either attack design or FIGHT minigame design, plus some more smaller additions. It probably won't be very code-heavy, but I might get a sudden inspiration and make half the battle system in a few hours, so no promises. Either way, cya then.
