Did you know: I was so bored and looking for things to do on Gamejolt that I looked back at my game (Copys quest)

And decided to give Taxonomy to the enemies in the game, yes, scientific names for a game only like 4 people have played.

(Read below!)

Common name: Rit

Scientific name: Rattus Spinosus-retro (Spell it like how its spelled here)

DESC: The rit is the largest species in the genus Rattus, at the exact same time it is also the largest (Not extinct) rodent ever recorded, being around a foot taller then the previous record holder, the capybara. It has spines on its back that it uses for many things including: A mating device, defense and offense, Etc. The closest non magic relative to the Rit is the black rat and the brown rat.

leefcher.png

Common name: Leefcher

Scientific name: Pan natura sagittarius

Desc: The leefcher is a small 4 foot tall humanoid member of the genus, Pan. Leefcher's are super smart and have been shown to craft bows and hunt in packs, some times even using sneak attacks on prey. The closest non magic relative to the Leefcher is the chimpanzee.

windjinn.png

Common name: Windjinn

Scientific name: Pandion Tonitruum

DESC: The windjinn is a closely related to the hawk, it is very different however. It lives high in the clouds soaking up moisture and static electricity, possibly for hours. Then it stores the electricity for later use in attacks, it can shoot thunder through its talons. Its most interesting feature is an organ in its waist that takes body moisture, heats it up, and then turns it into a dense mist used for flying.

sprongboa.png

Common name: Sprongboa

Scientific name: Boa toxicous constrictor

DESC: The sprongboa is a 7 foot long species of purple snake covered in spikes, these spikes are used to inject a toxin that paralyzes prey. When hunting its prey it will coil up into a spring like shape and use a powerful bone in its tail to ¨Bounce¨ to move faster. It can also curl up around its prey and stab them with its spikes, similar to an iron maiden. Its closest non magic relative is the Boa constrictor.

new_piskel_10.png

Common name: Bone-blob

Scientific name: Chironex Acidum

DESC: This is a powerful 6 foot tall, 5 foot wide blobby threat located in the swamps of the slime kingdom. It has a thick layer of ¨Skin¨ that is very slimy to the touch. When pierced or cut the skin will leak out an acidic liquid similar to that of stomach acid as a self defense mechanism. Its closest non magic relative is the box jellyfish.
