Diddy Kong will probably be my second favorite echo. He'll seem better than DK but sometimes power changes make a difference. Moveset in the article


Since Diddy is smaller than DK, he'll have a smaller hitbox, which might make it easier to dodge attacks. His jump move will be like everyone else's except he can jump twice like Mario with a well-timed X press. Next he has his peanut popgun, which like DK, he charges it up and shoots. This move will also have a timed X press part. If you succeed, He'll pull out a second gun and charge up once more. I'm not too sure about the third attack, but from what I'm seeing in the spritesheet, it'll probably have something to do with a barrel cannon. The last picture is of a concept that gave me the idea of echoes. Diddy will have a second jump in his dodge state. If you press Z while jumping, he'll do a second jump with his rocket barrel. It's like Mario's spin jump in the Octogoomba battle. Cya next time!

Fun Fact: I was thinking of adding Mr. Game and Watch as a playable character because obvious, but the idea seemed more ambitious than I thought, so I scrapped it.

I'm very excited to implement Pixel9Bit's resprite of his Donkey Kong spritesheet in the future! It was also good to wait to make Diddy Kong playable because he resprited him too!

These two may be away for the time being, but when they come back they'll be stronger than ever!

There's a bulletin board in the middle of the overworld where you can save your game and read dialogue from each character! Who's who?

it's a party

This game includes a mechanic where you can collect wanted posters that appear in the overworld and fight harder versions of bosses for double the coins you would usually get from them! (Version of game shown in video not released yet)

The first 2 special attacks will be available to use in the upcoming update, being Bowser's Goomba barrage and Wario's piledriver. Of course there will be specials made for everyone else, and then multiple for each. It's just a lot of work for me

The Final Stand.

Finally fixed a pretty bad bug where if you hit a block too quickly, it would keep rotating. The fix is only applied to the solo block in this clip to demonstrate how broken the bug made things lol
