Hey, Everyone! An early update devlog! How about that? Anyway, I've got something interesting to share. Instead of having difficulty based on the area you're in like normal FNAFB games does, the difficulty will be for the entirety of the era you're in. After beating that era, you'll move on to a harder one. Let's say the 1972 era is level 1 (Alpha) and you've beaten it. Afterwards, you can move on the 1987 era; which is level 2 (Beta). With this difficulty change, each level would be like this:
1972 - Alpha
1987 - Beta
1993 - Gamma
202X (FNAF 3) - Delta
20XX (FNAF 4) - Omega
Because of this change, enemies and bosses will have stats based on the difficulty. So, 1972 will have alpha enemies/bosses, 1987 will have beta enemies/bosses, etc. HOWEVER, you'll only be able to use weapons and armor based on that difficulty as well. Example: alpha level = alpha equipment, beta level = beta equipment, you get the idea. Thankfully, you'll have a chance to stock up on not only items but higher tier weapons and armor at the hotel that we mentioned in the description of this game. That way, you can prepare yourself for next harder era. So, if you've beaten level 1 and got to the hotel, it's a good idea to get beta tier equipment and items before jumping into level 2. If you don't, you'll have a bad time. So if you want to survive, get your stronger stuff, save your game, and then jump into the danger.
In other news, for any of you that are familiar with my other game, FNAF World: When Worlds Collide MV Edition, I mentioned that I updated the icons to make them more clean and have that "MV" style. I'm thinking about doing that for this game as well. It'll have custom icons tailored to FNAF and maybe FNAFB itself if possible. I did change the main menu icons to something that's somewhat the same but looks better.
That's all I gotta say for this update. Leave your feedback on what you all think of the difficulty changes as well as the icon changes and I'll see you all in another devlog!
