Disgusting bugs, everywhere!

DeadBase info.

  • Will upload soon, maybe in another day.

(still want to re-implement achievements and high-scores (gamejolt, clay))

  • Fixed shadows for walls with new script, had to redo a bit of the isomengi one.

(Who’d figure that isometric engine’s shadows converted to topdown would suck?)

  • Fixed sound glitches, and all the other bugs I listed before. (chainsaw, etc)

  • Fixed the everything.

  • Added Level Hint, when you either find the exit key, or exit hatch.

(Levels can take a bit of time to pass, and finding both the key and exit proved a nightmare, you could say.)

  • Adjusted offsets for walls, (not noticeable, but was for shadow implementation.)

  • Fixed mass quantities of ammo in later levels.

  • Fixed Lefty-Speedy-Zombies, and Righty-Slow-As-Hell zombie AI bug.

  • Made 4 explosive barrels spawn per level, instead of two.

  • Seemingly removed the frame drops at later levels issue. (HTML5)

  • Modulated some of the code, especially bullet/collision code, for better future editing. (rushed competition project resulted in messy code, still sifting through it all)

  • Fixed the weird sound overlay on starting/stopping the chainsaw, after revving it, and releasing it. (when out of fuel, it would rev on release, and pull cord sound could barely be heard.)

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.
