District Overrun


ZFG has a new active title: DISTRICT OVERRUN

And a new playable build!

CHANGES:

  • The visual assets have been largely redone.

  • New weapons have been added with detailed sprites

  • High tech weapons that provide environmental effects

  • Dynamic road placement system

  • Procedural building placement system. (still in progress)

  • AI improvements; React to being attacked and have more complex states.

  • Added infection period, so humans don’t turn immediately.

  • Total new menu system. (still in progress)

  • Added top layer to environment render; can now go under trees and other objects.

  • New map segment variations; Industrial, Business, Farm.

  • Map segments will now be generated with random rotations.

  • Added advance camera functions, such as zooming and gradual pans.

  • Added particle system, that provides part of the specialized weapon effects.

  • Animated effects.

  • Death and damage animations, including persistent corpses.

  • Weapon and damage kickback.

  • Event / Quest system (still in progress)

The project is still in development and so some features are unfinished.
