Version 1 - The January 2011 release!

Summary:

Atlabgames: DJ Hero is a retro “de-make” of the current-gen 2009 release

“DJ Hero” by Activision. Designed as if the project had been released for

the Nintendo Entertainment System circa 1989, this title is fully playable

with 6 unique chip-tune mashups. Complete the game by playing each of the

available tracks and try to recieve the highest combination score possible.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Is this a standalone PC game or an NES rom?

A: This title is a standalone PC game. It comes as an .exe

file with no installation neccessary. Jus double click and

play.

Q: Why is there no “Rewind Track?”

A: The obvious difficulties the NES would have had handling that

type of calculation in mid-play back in the 1980’s would have been

too straining on the system’s hardware. In short; it wouldn’t

have been do-able back then.

Q: Is Activision gonna sue you?

A: God, I hope not. I have come to the understanding that

at least some of their staff are aware of the project and I

have yet to recieve any C & D’s.

Q: What happens if I find a bug/problem?

A: I will happily take bug reports! Send me an e-mail to:

[email protected] with information about where the bug

happened, on what stage and with what characters/objects. I’ve put

a lot of time in to trying to make the game as “perfect” as possible,

but I’m just human and frankly, I’m not that great a programmer. I

will address the issue and release updates as needed.

Q: Can I contact you if I have questions about the game?

A: yes, you can, but PLEASE read this “read me” first to make sure

your questions are not answered somewhere within its text. If you

can’t find the answer, then yes, go ahead and contact me.
