Doing some experiments with wider Paintings and my collision code seems to be right?
This is a 2x1 Painting, so it needs 2 walls next to each other, anything in the way makes it invalid placement.

Slight issue that you can still place on over the right hand wall. Not sure how to fix that. I could assign both walls the same Painting but that might cause issues.
Maybe a better option would be putting multiple paintings next to each other can cause a merging?

1I was working on showing Spelunky stuff, but turns out I didn't fix that surface bug, so back to trying to do that.
Current theory is that the surface is being destroyed and a path is being drawn instead?

Ok, I think I've settled on something I'm happy with for the Spelunky Menu. Just gonna test it, then go have my stupid little walk and catch some Pokemon. Gonna be so cold
Spelunking update so far. Added new Events, updated the fade out/in, added loot lists. Still a few things to fix and improve like the UI.
For some reason image_speed is not always updating.
