Due to the national quarantine in person play test sessions were no longer an option. I did what I could to get others to playtest but I was not able to get as much in as I would have wanted. I can make more levels in future since I have all the logic now

I wanted to have the game to be a cover shooter with chest high walls the player can use. I needed mechanics to reflect this so I added stationary turrets to shoot the player. Thing is, the player hitbox extends above the player even when crouched.
These are some of the earliest screenshots I have of my project.
Here are some more recent screenshots. I have made some slight changes to level design to accomodate the assets I had to work with. I have also ran into issues with frame drops that I had to diagnose among other issues by this point.
Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.
