Early Access update

After discussing options, we’ve decided to not release on Early Access.

Doing so would essentially be releasing an unfinished product and that’s not something we are comfortable doing. We will continue to develop and may release one or two demo builds, but we will not go to Early Access. It would basically undermine we are trying to accomplish with Rogue Invader.

We want Rogue Invader to be a commercial success, and we would be able to garner no news coverage releasing an unfinished game to EA, and news outlets do not cover games that transition from EA to a “full release.” They view the release to EA as a full release.

So we’ll keep you updated and let you know how progress goes. If you’d like to reserve your copy of Rogue Invader now, you can visit our store at https://squareup.com/market/squishy-games . Use the code GAMEJOLT for 20% off the listed prices.

Cheers,

Nathan and Lee J
