Escape from Pirate Island Pre-Alpha Version 1.11.5


Updates for version 1.11.5

Upgraded to Unity Game Engine to version 5.5.1f1
Split Game into 4 Zones that seamlessly loads as needed
General collider/sound bug fixes
Repositioned minimap camera for better performance
Reduced Far plane for main camera for better performance
Added PS4/Joystick support (mouse & keyboard still works as before)
First pass at fps improvement (now around 20fps+ but depends on mode)
Adjusted terrain scale for water planes.(Terrain size unchanged.)
Game runs with 6GB ram, but 8GB+ and Graphics card recommended.
(Play Testers, let us know the specs of your rig and how it works please)
Default Game mode should be ‘Good’ mode with 1920 x 1080 res.
Tune Baked resolution to 30 texels and enable ambient occlusion
Marked various objects as static & Baked Occlusion Culling Pass I
Added another crate in pavilion with crows
Added books on shelf in hut near small lake with goat
Moved carpet more under the bed
minor bug fixes to hide debug messages for map popup
resize map/vision pop-ups
Improved soft shadows

Note: We Need more animal models. (Egret/Heron/Beaver/Otter/Pelican/Black Cat and more…if you want to contribute your .fbx model with animations, please contact us.

Also, please let us know which version you play-test (Win/Mac/Linux) and a brief summary of your HW specs. For alpha we suggest to start with the ‘Good’ mode on resolution 1280 x 960.

Hello my space friends! Now I added a space background to the ship. I love that space look but I still feel like stuff is missing. The lighting on the ship needs some improvements I think. Please tell me your opinion!
