FALSE FRIGHTS // UPDATE ~ v1.0.1

This small patch update addresses a handful of minor issues people have had with the game, as well as makes a few balance changes to specific characters.

  • added the version number to the title screen

  • made chica the killer say her numbers faster

  • made chica the killer give you a short grace period before she starts to give you exposure (she now gives exposure slightly quicker as compensation for this)

  • attempted a fix for an issue where tire track freddy's parts would not spawn at all

  • changed how tire track freddy's hitbox detection works to hopefully make it more fair

  • updated tire track freddy's deathscreen description to be more informal

  • changed how chrome freddy's difficulty scaling works to hopefully make him more forgiving

  • updated chrome freddy's deathscreen description to be more informal

  • made the time between running out of time to answer education endoskeleton's question and him asking a new one a smidge longer

  • updated fliptrap's map description to be more accurate

  • changed a single word in emerald foxy's map description to eliminate confusion

  • fixed capitalization in a variety of deathscreen & map descriptions

  • fixed an issue where "ghost descriptions" could be seen on the map

  • fixed an issue where sounds kept playing after fright clear

  • fixed an issue where enemies could become active in the custom fright despite their ai being set to 0


Bigger changes like adding subtitles to Chica the Killer and an Emerald Foxy rework will be coming later down the line. This update was simply to push out some much-needed minor fixes to the game.
