What was initially an island has been transformed by the Elder Gods into a deep chasm where an island would have been. The life sustained within knows not the light of the sun, but it thrives nonetheless. The Guardian beast of the blind chasm devours all who venture within.
Some say that the second Jury of the JST, Mordath Ryumi, survived a night in Permanenoctus. Many believe that he returned against his will.
