FINAL UPDATE - 19TH MAY. Over a year has passed since our original update! We'll be releasing our final update for The Sorrowvirus: A Faceless Short Story on the 19th May for £4.99/$5.99.

Originally, The Sorrowvirus: A Faceless Short Story was released as an incentive to support Faceless' IndieGoGo campaign, which, unfortunately, did not go as well as we hoped. We are eternally grateful for those who did ever so kindly support the campaign. We also created it to apply for the Epic Games' Developer Grant/MegaGrant, which, unfortunately, we also didn't receive. As a result, we wanted to take the time to update The Sorrowvirus one last time using your feedback and your Let's Plays to really shape it into the best version of itself that it can be.

As a result, The Sorrowvirus: A Faceless Short Story will be available as a standalone game for £4.99/$5.99.

The 'Endure Update' features a multitude of changes, including a partial level design overhaul, new and extended music tracks, new sound effects, performance improvements, all of Wyatt's (8-BitRyan) lines, Steam achievements, Steam soundtrack, overhauled options menu with audio sliders and graphical options, new hints and messages to clarify what items are specifically used for, a better flashlight for the cave with a vastly reduced cooldown, fixing areas where players could get stuck, fixing issues where candles were difficult to light up or would not light up at all, an Instance Selector on the Main Menu and much, much more. Another addition to this update is a collectable wristwatch, which, if found, will ensure that the player no longer needs to check in with clocks. A must-have for those who want to take their time to explore the environment.

A complete and extensive changelist will be available upon our release on Steam. This version will also be available to purchase on GameJolt and Itch.io, with those who bought it through the "Name Your Price" option receiving the update for free.

Thank you for all your support so far, after this update is released, we will be returning to developing Faceless, the multiplayer game. A more in-depth video on the development of Faceless will be created also and uploaded sometime after the release of this update.

Our final update to the standalone version of The Sorrowvirus will include a slew of improvements based on important feedback from all of you. It'll also include a visual overhaul of certain areas, most notably, the sewer, as pictured!

Make sure you share The Sorrowvirus with anybody you feel would be interested in playing it! Got a YouTuber in mind who you'd like to see play it? Send it their way! We appreciate any exposure we can get for The Sorrowvirus!

When we launched on Steam, we needed to do a bit of work to create a non-DRM version of the current iteration of our game, including an in-game achievements system. Our game is once again available on GameJolt to purchase!

Shortly after becoming its Social Media Manager on Facebook and during my earliest days of using the Unreal Engine, I recreated the FNaF Offices! In the spirit of FNaF's 8th Birthday, here's the first office. Golden Freddy was spooky. #FNaFArt #ImScared

For Wyatt, death is never an escape. With four endings to find, can you set him free from his sorrow? Don't forget that you can still download The Sorrowvirus: A Faceless Short Story for free!

Thank you to all of those who have played The Sorrowvirus so far, please be sure to leave a rating if you enjoyed it, and perhaps share it with your friends so that we can reach more people who aren't aware of The Sorrowvirus!

As the manager of the verified FNAF FB, I created an official "Thank You, Scott" video. I thought I'd share it here also! This is just a preview, but the full version can be seen here! https://youtu.be/5mlCLPoyKo8
