We’re finally able to share our new version of FireDawgs!
It’s been through some redesigns in the past few months, we still have fires and dawgs but now we’ve also got
Power Ups – Super Hose, Speed & Health Boosts, Double Coins and X-Ray Vision
Natural Disasters – how will you handle navigating a lightning storm?
Bigger World – Can you find all the shortcuts?
Shiny New Controls – now more FPS-like
FireDawgs is also rocking a new look, this is our final art style, although we’ve said that about a few of them. No, really, this one is final!
The game is a lot easier to understand as we’ve actually got menus, instructions and some feedback so you know what’s going on. It has come a long way from the first concept prototype, hope you like what you see! There’s finally some audio in too, we’re testing some sound effects and you can check out Kevin McLeod’s website to see where we got our music.
Thanks to everyone on GameJolt who’s played FireDawgs, the feedback and videos you’ve created have been so helpful!
I hope you try the new version and find it as enjoyable as we do! Thanks!
Thanks also for the great feedback from publishers including Gary Rowe of Green Man Gaming and Phil Elliot of Square Enix Collective, as well as testing sessions with Player Research, as part of NI Screen’s Assembler program.
