FIRST DEVLOG #1

WELL HELLO!

Welcome to the first devlog I've made. In this post I'll give you the progresses I did in my own asymmetrical horror game called House of Jolterland and it decipts the Gamejolt stuff. Alright have something to eat or drink (much far away from your computer!) and let's go straight to it.

RJUND X HOJ COLLAB REJECTED

That's a sad case for @averageexefan (a.k.a Exenerd) because she really wanted to that collab came true. If you don't know what the other asym game is, Rejuvenate Undead is a concept horror game inspired by Pillar Chase 2 and Forsaken and made by @Freddie_e4ad , Exenerd and me. On the one of the questions I've made I asked people for what game collaboration I should make and she wanted RJUND X HOJ collab.

I've contacted with Air Breather for collab, and only thing he replied... is he rejects it due to his game collaborating with mine is not corresponding with his game's themes. That's sad, because I wanted The Rejuvenator as a collab JOLTY! skin for Dead King Freddy (from POPGOES Arcade), but there's nothing to worry about, I'll find other games to collab with.

NO JUDGE JELLY IN JOLTERLAND?

Judge Jelly is one of the first friends (a.k.a survivors) which is playable. I've even set a class for her as a support, but she didn't get so far in the developement. The only problem is she kinda doesn't fit as a playable friend, and she would be better placed as a NPC. I've considered earlier about the ressurection ability that revives the survivors with maximum health, but I've realized that that is unfair and out of my game's philosophy. So if you think she is getting scrapped, then you're right; Judge Jelly as a friend is no more.

"WHO'S THAT GIGACHAD?"

Welp, if you did really forget about him, this is Mercurius. The character from the April Fools from the last year as well as the latest Gamejolt contributor and known for the forbidden spell (sorry for that link). As the Mercurius himself, I think he fits as a foe since he would work as an ambusher/deceiver (similiar to Forsaken Noli). But this day, he will be considered either as an event character or dev-exclusive one.

PLANNED REWORK FOR THE CHARACTERS

Moving back for Air Breather's persona, I've recently dropped a RECODE UPDATE announcement and he's currently is under the rework because the older one... didn't make him much scary enough. As you've read that announcement, there will be more changes and a bit closer to Dead By Daylight's character functioning. I've taking the inspirations from the Wheatdraws, the guy who's running the collection of the DBD character concepts.

SPECULATED CHARACTERS FOR THE FUTURE WAVES
Yeah, let's talk about the major update characters, that the most of them would be roughly licensed. As the following characters I would put in, I'll go first;

WAVE 2: Clover, My unrevealed Friend OC; The Slasher, Magician Rodley, Speed.S, Abigail, PALPercy.
WAVE 3: Popgoes the Weasel, Candy 'n Cindy, Dead King Freddy, Morse the Mole, Monster RAT.
WAVE 4: Nephryte, My unrevealed Friend OC 2, My unrevealed OC 3; Mercurius, Mayor Jolt, My Unrevealed Foe OC.
