First upload to GameJolt

So, first upload to GameJolt.

I’ve been working on this since March 2015, which means over 18 months. It still isn’t finished, due to a massive case of scope creep on my part, but I’ve now got the mechanics pretty much finished.

I originally started this as a way to develop line-of-sight and sound detection mechanisms for future projects, and then it just morphed into a multi-level Thief-style stealther. Along the way, I developed and then abandoned a customised pathfinding system to handle light detection (perfect example of how not to do that), learned how to use ScriptableObjects in Unity, and developed mechanisms for the player to interact with the world.

So, it’s mainly content creation and bug fixes that are left. I might actually finish this :)

I thought I would do a quick show and tell, with a 2 min video of the start of the game and some of the game elements, after many many months it is really starting to come together, time to start networking https://gamejolt.com/games/Dungeon_fable/490669

Distrust - HUMERUS (with dirty shade) Papyrus isn`t small. It's possible that I didn't draw him well, but he crouched down and bent towards us. I'm still bad at moments like this

Day 4, Achieved

A calm and quiet day.. Made surreal by the feeling of finding an elven building in the mountains, and wondering of its purpose and story. I built this elven style house and it was my first attempt at something like this, but what do you think?
