In the last post, I talked about some of the new features we added to the game, as well as a few tweaks to how the game works. Here we have a few more updates reguarding 0.6.2 [Pre-Release]!
Video Devlogs?
We are currently thinking about doing Video Updates on the game, and kinda showing the behind the scenes on the game! We have decided to let you guys vote on it! On this post is a poll, go ahead and cast your vote and once we have the totals, we will decide if we want to do Video Devlogs as well!
0.6.2 [Pre-Release] sent for testing!
As of me typing this, I’m uploading the latest build so I can send the build to @GermenatorrYT and @JarredFire (Co-Owners at STG). This build is not 100% done, I know we will have to tweak the AI for Rush Mode, Fix some bugs for the Trophies (and bugs in general), Compress some files to make the game smaller, Tweak the Engine to make it run a bit smoother on lower end pcs, and Finish the Account Screen! Once all that is done and tested, we will then have a set release date!
Feeback from the Closed Beta / Demo
We can finally talk about this since we got everything done and fixed regarding the feedback!
The #1 Issue from both the Closed Beta and Demo was that When the game started, it would open in full-screen and 1/4th of game would fill the entire screen, or the game would only use 1/4th of the screen and be small. This was due to the Scaling option. As of now we have removed the Scaling issue thus fixing the Full Screen issue, however this will impact performance on lower end pcs. We are unsure if we will add this scaling feature back in, as time goes on we will make our final decision on it.
The AI has been slightly tweaked, as well as some bugs being fixed such as :
Animatronics staying at the door for the entire night.
Animatronics instantly Jumpscaring the player.
Sound Glitches.
etc.
Trophies
In the latest build, now when you unlock a Trophy, it will display it for you to see and play a jingle to alert you about it!
This is set up for both Nights 1-6 and Rush Mode!
Final Thoughts
As we come close to the game’s release, we are really pushing to make this game the best it can be! Originally we weren’t going add a Account Tab or even Rush Mode, but we want to give everyone extra content in-between the Game’s Release and the Gameplay Expansion! We hope you all can understand, and thank you for being patient!
