Fresh start

Hey, VLR here.
This is the first time I am directly programming a game (I don’t really consider using rpgmaker as “programming”). So, if you’re wondering if being a programmer is tough, I can definitely say it is. But it’s really fun!

I have always been passionate about all aspects of games, be it the narrative, the visuals, the music, and so on. So it’s a really cool thing to experience this first hand. Everyone should try to do something like this at least once, even if they don’t know anything about coding and stuff.

Anyways, without rambling on anymore, this is a fresh new project that I and my friends are making from scratch. Maybe in a few months it turns out to be a cool game? Idk. I’ll just keep having fun with it :)

Do something you can’t, just because you can.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Enemies can also suddenly spawn through Realm Rifts. These Rift Spawns are going to be stronger than the ones wandering around. TBD on the enemies... #screenshotsaturday #godstear #madewithunity

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.
