Future of SLA after Unity changes

As many of you have already seen, and if you haven't then welcome to this mess, Unity is now going to start charging all developers for any and all installs of their games after they reach a certain threshold.

This DOES NOT affect SLA as it would be illegal for me to profit off of it. It will however impact my indie game as if I were to continue development in Unity, the installs from SLA would count towards the threshold and eventually cost me money.

Once I am done with SLA I will be ditching Unity, even if they rollback the changes. They have lost my trust. I am actively looking into UE5 and Godot for future games, including my indie game.

This one's for you Galaxy S5 (and equivalent) owners out there

So, when's the next update?

Okay yeah, I will have to change the engine for my indie game. Thanks Unity. very cool.

Other than that, thanks for almost 200k downloads. Should be there by the end of 2023.

Lots of changes are coming.

"Thanks guys for endless hours of fun." 👍

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

We're knee deep in multiple large features and "game feel". Quick peek behind the scenes in this weeks Dev Blog: https://bit.ly/2QmmaQM
