Game Events and Features: Part 1 — Ticks in 2D Games? Yes! And they will become your problem.

Many people have wondered why there are sometimes no ticks in games. We decided to fix it!

In Stump: Journey in the Forest, the main character, a tree stump, can pick up a tick if he makes his way through thick grass or bushes. However, there are ways to avoid this: it is enough to wear appropriate clothing that protects against these small but unpleasant creatures.

But what if the tick still clung? You'll have to find tweezers or forceps to get rid of it. This element adds realism and new mechanics to the exploration of our mysterious world.

And now let's talk about the health status of the hero. The image shows the inside of the main character's stump. When we water a flower, you can see how the liquid fills inside it, and the earth is below. These are just sketches now.

Stay tuned for new posts — there are even more interesting details about the mechanics of the game ahead! 🌿

Love, the Stump Team: A Journey through the forest. ❤
