Update 0.7 addresses a lot of issues with the game brought up by players trying the previous build.
The main issue was to ditch the script-based jump scare motion (head and jaw motion only) and replace it with an actual animation sequence. Bonnie, Chica and Freddy will now lunge at you in a more convincing way!
Another issue appeared to come up with virtual reality players: the fixed security camera system. This has been imrproved by not attaching the cam system to the player’s head motion. This causes minor issues with the main hud sometimes slipping through the cam system; this should be corrected in time.
Additionally, a few minor adjustment needed to be done. The mouse sensitivity has been reduced on the standard monitor edition. Players can now use the right mouse button instead of using space.
Finally, the difficulty settings parameters have been adjusted, and some new ones have been added to help control when each animatronic starts the night. You’ll find easy to be more tame than before (and Foxy far less active) and Ultra, slightly more difficult as Freddy will move out much earlier.
This update is definitely worthy of checking out. If you’ve already done a video on the previous version, I’d recommend waiting for the April update before doing another, as that update will have much more noticeable changes. It’s only a suggestion though, you can make another one anyways if you want to; you can make ten in a row!
Enjoy!
PS: For now I’ve added the right-click feature, but ultimately, for controls, left-click will do everything, and space/right-click will only be used to dismiss the security cameras. This should get as close as possible to the original game’s simplicity while remaining easy to use in VR.
