Gamemaker Practise update

Hi, I'm back. You're probably wondering why I've not made any updates for the last month, and it's because I wanted to take this game in a completely new direction. I've said before that this game might evolve over time into something new, and this is the most wild example so far. I'm completely changing the gameplay, visual style, location and theme of this game, as before I felt unhappy with it being a low-budget fnaf 1 clone with a wierd visual style. I tried my hardest to make it work, but making a fnaf 1 clone unique nowadays feels almost impossible, especially with how varied each game is in terms of ideas.

I'd say that this is a complete improvement of the game (aside from the visual identity, sorry blue hue) and I actually feel like I'm capable of working on it now. This new game should be way more fun and possibly scary than what I was going for with the fnaf 1 style gameplay.

When will it release?

Not for a good while, I'd honestly just leave this project in the back of your mind whilst it's not getting updates, as most updates will either be minor and frequent, or big and far apart.

What'll it be like as a game?

I don't really want to spoil anything about the game until it's done, I'm kinda doing a Toby Fox technique in that regard, but I'll give you a couple hints:

(It's got hardly any relation to FNAF btw, look deeper)

So I'll just be working on this game for now, and I might give some small updates from time to time. My main goal with the game is to make it as fun and/or scary as possible. Will I be able to achieve both? Who knows. Maybe it'll end up being structured like FNAF Plus, with horror in the main campaign, fun stuff after.

Anyway sorry for yapping, I will return when more progresses has been made.

Mixlas has always been one of my greatest inspirations.

When BNC released, I was inspired to start developing fan games. Even my first YT videos are speedruns of Tyke and Sons Lumber Co.

I pray for him and his family. RIP to one of the greatest.
