Gearing Up for a Beta Release

A beta release is a great way to gain interest from new people. I have been trying to work on getting a tutorial level released, because it is the most effective way to get people acquainted with the control scheme before a full sized release

Now, I don’t think there is really that much more I can say about this. At the end of the day, getting an audience is about the product, first and foremost. After that, it is important to make sure that you give the audience good reasons to play your game.

I know this post is a little bit more lazy than some of my other posts in the past, and I regret that, I just felt it was important to mention the value of doing small, incremental releases for a game. I hope that, if you were on the fence about releasing that new build, you know now that it is a good idea.

Thanks!
