Gods Will Be Watching on Indiegogo

Gods Will Be Watching was created as an entry for the Ludum Dare 26 game jam, developed in less than 72 hours with “Minimalism” as theme, with just a single stage and point’n’click mechanics, we made a bleak surviving simulator that I hope you played here at Game Jolt :) Setting the premises of an interesting story machine, with great emotional charge and intentionally difuse inspiring plot elements, this minigame serves as a good prototype for our current project: A big game about despair, commitment and self-justified sacrifices; in which you will set the rules of behaviour.

This is what we plan to add

  • 6 levels with many harsh challenges and possible solutions.

  • +10 hours of gameplay for the true survivors (hundreds in the likely case you keep dying).

  • New cinematics that will expand the game’s background.

  • Outstanding soundtrack with more than 10 tracks by Fingerspit.

  • Extensive list of challenges with tricky difficulty for the most stubborn survivors.

  • The Empathy System: player actions affect the whole group’s attitude.

This is our first attempt to making it with a commercial indie game, and we are seeking to improve our development to create a really polished title. If you enjoyed our last game, you can help us by donating or just spreading the word! We want to give you bigger and better GWBW experiencies!

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
