What changed? Stuff. Stuff changed.
Alternate controls! Now you can use J/I/L/K and D instead of Up/Right/Down and Space. Or you can use both. They all stills works.
You can now stomp on stuff directly below you with K or Left.
The in-game tutorial card is changed to reflect this.
Some enemies will shoot a nukerbullet at you if they get behind you.
People probably run a little slower. Not by much. But they do.
Police cars added! Weaker than tanks, but will spawn a cop once they reach you.
Bigger helicopters added! Stronger than normal helicopters. They hold two soldiers in them.
By the way, I added soldiers. They are meaty meals but they also shoot you more than the cops do. Not related to any real life events.
Score numbers now pop up in the field so you know how much your chomps are worth.
The score counter now doesn’t show a ridiculously taunting number of zeros.
Pieces of building fly out when you chomp on them.
Buildings crack to show how broken they are.
Buildings now produce some kind of dusty stuff when they collapse.
There is now an “alert bar” that indicates how angry the city is at you.
Guests can now submit scores. I think it works. You should help me check.
I do declare, please forgive the unfavorable animation of the blank and the blank, because I didn’t fix it yet.
A couple more instruments, which you can hear if you get far enough.
Would have added more, but I last-minute wanted to submit a thing for the October Challenge over at Ludum Dare. This is all I did. Clap clap, and all that. I would wish I had more time to work on this, but it also pays less, y’know? I’ll poke at this more when it’s hobby time. You know? I know you know.
I’m tired.
