Just 2 days until the start of the Gravity Jam. #gravityjam

The two week jam and contest runs from the 15th until the 30th of September. That’s half a month to come up with a great original game with a theme or mechanic based on gravity. The top three entries (as voted by the gamejolt community) will get a little prize. So remember to tag your game with #gravityjam somewhere in the game description if you want to take part. Entries will be judged on gameplay, visuals, sound and innovation, so we will be looking for a well polished, fun and unique game if you want those prizes.

Rules:

• Be honest. We hope you will make your game within the time frame, you can always post a work in progress and finish it later. And we won’t begrudge you for dusting off an old prototype or planning out your game before the jam starts.

• Teams are ok, but if you win, you will have to decide among yourselves who gets the steam key prizes

• Solo projects also ok, but you will get judged the same as the team projects

• 1st place wins two Steam keys of their choice from my spares (listed below) after that, 2nd place picks one key next, then third. Should I happen to finish top 3, then the prizes get bumped down to the next places, so 4th could win something too.

• If there are any problems redeeming the Steam keys then tough, pick another one, I’m doing this out of the goodness of my heart.

Wow, looking at all that I’m wondering just how I managed to accumulate all these un-needed keys. They are all keys that I have collected that I’ve paid for twice because of some bundle or just not needed/wanted. I believe I have the right to give these away, There a gift option on the keys to I guess I do. Apologies to the developers if I don’t, it’s for the cause of promoting indie development and if I’m not playing the games I paid for someone should… right.
