Greetings Gamejolters


Hey, I’m Wrim. I make stuff which is inspired by Windows 95.
Every game I upload to this site has the prefix *.Icons, which is a universe I made up about Icons living in an operating system.

My drive comes from the fact that 32 x 32 icons is a dieing breed, all we see nowadays are 256 x 256 icons with smudged backgrounds or iphone-ish buttons with rounded edges with colored backgrounds because the artists didn’t have the energy to make the icons stand on their own. Skeuomorphism works and there’s no reason to change that. I try to preserve that through my work. Which is heavilly ripped off from Windows 95.

Runestones: from concept to in-game model🗿

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Regular exercise is key for healthy wings.

Alone Together....

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
