*warning; creepy stuff*

You know that off and creepy shantae that was shown in an art of mine? welp that was actually a little teaser for this

As we all know, there's at least some horror version of nearly every video game and video game character out there (Sonic.EXE, MX, Pacm̬̦̩̹̌͢a̪͓̮̼͍̗͑̿ͫn̛̥͈ͅ and many more), although one i noticed that didn't really have a horror counterpart was Shantae

Like i never really found something horror related of Shantae (and those i could find wasn't exactly scary or at least creepy)

Now i do get why it's a very tricky thing to do a horror thing of Shantae considering stuff like her design or how exactly it would be possible to make her creepy or disturbing in some way, that's not gonna stop me from trying

I behold $H4NT4< (aka Tourmaline X). Like the likes of say MX or Sonic.EXE, she's basically a horror version of Shantae. Although unlike characters like Sonic.EXE, She isn't a horror entity possessing Shantae's body. The lore i have for her is akin to that of Sonic.UNL, as in she was a creature that's using the form of Shantae as a disguise and the actual shantae is dead

The lore is that on one of Shantae's adventures, she discovers a cave that she has never been into before and goes into it to explore it, but unknown to her, there was a gloopy creature within that cave who isn't friendly at all. she encounters Tourmaline X which kills her and uses the blood from her corpse to form a new body (which is the look you see here)

Tourmaline's actual form is a big black gloopy creature whose only got is to assimilate things and take the form of things to catch whoever encounters it

In the doppleganger Shantae form, the body's skin isn't like regular skin but more so hardened akin to that of a stone or an hard boiled egg which cracks and breaks whenever its angry or turning into her actual form and reforms whenever turning back into the shantae form

I know this isn't perfect but i tried my best with what i wanted to do and try to do something different
