As the title states, Para||el is not dead. It has just been in development hell for the past year+, for reasons I can’t/would rather not say.
I can say however that I have moved the game over to Gamemaker Studio 2, from Clickteam Fusion 2.5, as Fusion has a nasty bug/memory limitation with Direct3D, where if you have too many animations/large images, or both, things wont render correctly, if at all.
While I’m not completely happy with the transition, there are certain quality of life improvements in GMS2 over Fusion. That being said there’s about as many downsides as there are upsides, so it balances out I think.
Here’s a test room I made using it. I was using it to practice surfaces and shaders.

I’m very sorry I haven’t said anything about the game’s lifeline for a while. I just didn’t want to say anything that might seem set in stone that I didn’t think I could do.
This game will come out as long as I’m alive, but currently development is slow, from the above personal/private reasons to learning Gamemaker, to having to finish other obligations and projects before I can work on Para||el.
New content will come soon(ish), I might even show off old models that I don’t think I’ll use and that probably wont fit in my planned extra’s menu.
