Happy February! I hope you're all doing well!
I lost a week when I was sick plus a couple more days when Granny had some bad ones, but I have still been hard at it, mostly working on more Ruins stuff bug fixes and optimisations. Lets get to it!
New Ruins shape parts to feed to the RNG gods! I think this will be some sort of Pond/Fountain, real tempting to steal a Zelda feature...
Not sure if you'll be able to fish here or not.

Reworked the system that blends tiles to work other places than just the Island surface.
Foolishly I now have 2 different systems in place, one that replaces the tiles using auto-tiles to connect dirt>rock and rock>ruins which is uses specifically for Caves/Ruins, and the one for the Island which adds overtiles on top of the existing tiles to blend the edges of darkgrass>grass grass>desert etc.
I should really just use the overtile one but that means drawing new overtiles T_T

Grass can now spawn properly in The Caves, so I can have underground Trees!

Another new Ruins shape twin streams, plus some new scenery.
Added the the placement of Wall Torches on the side of walls (it's the same sprite, just offset SHHH don't tell anyone!)
Also a water feature! Some sort of pipe that pours water into the room. I'll probably add some different coloured liquids, but I'll have to update the water tiles too to match!
Originally you weren't able to enter this water but I reworked the collision system and changed the water depth so now you can.

And another ruin shape, one with random pools, seems it's currently better to have set layouts for things like pools and holes to avoid an issues of path blocking with RNG generation.

Continuing with the theme of reward rooms for the Ruins, I've made a ruined library, somewhere you can find Lore Books/Book Fragments/Skill Books. I had some trouble with this at first since Bookshelves don't work like chests, their UI is completely different and doesn't let you add or remove things from them. So I added Lecterns to hold the books and some broken sprite variants for the bookshelves.

Reworked how edge tiles were dealt with for Bogs, now connects correctly with Swamp and Rockland

Went to make a new menu and when I copy and pasted the code it didn't work for the number of buttons >:|
So I copied a different menus code and that didn't work either.
SO I've rewrote the code, turned it into a script and I'm going through all my menus and replacing them with this so they all work the exact same. Script needs to know which index is to be tracked, the number of columns and the number of rows and it should always work to wrap around the side and top and bottom if you're at the edges and press that way!
Next two gifs Same code, different menus, different amount of rows and columns of buttons, both work!

Built a menu for the Monolith, a bunch of Island features will be controlled from here, but for now I just made it possible to spawn a new Goblin.
Next I need to go through the entire project and standardise my menu code using this new script T_T

Bug Fixes and small Changes
Fixed Selling Occupied Buildings not clearing Owners interaction data.Fixed being able to sell Occupied Buildings.
Fixed Entities not being unpaused when leaving the Build Menu via the Back Button.
Fixed NPC's leaving Buildings facing the wrong way.
Fixed bug that would cause a Goblin to randomly spawn without a body.
Fixed Cloud height being wrong when loading a save file.
Fixed crash caused by lists of running objects not being updated correctly.
Fixed Saving only saving a small part of the island due to my Title Screen creation code.
I think that's everything I can show for now?
